Please don't quote "Clueless Matt" anymore! If anyone thinks the Fed is going to increase rates into the teeth of credit "lacking" recession, he'd better ask the dealer to crack a new deck!!!
Is he with a trading desk, or the last LaSalle division employee of GM??.

What the Fed's Latest Decision Means for Investors

Good eyes open article:
The question in the short term is where the up and down of oil is going to balance out. It only took the average American about two $100 tank fulls to park and share. The stocks built up and prices fell. Question is will he be comfortable at $375.?? or stay short on the driving??

In the long run that Detroit Dinosaur we all knew and loved will become extinct. But until that day it's going to be red ink greasing the recessionary skids.

Forget the Politicians; We'd be better off without them!, Their fixes for friends-(future employers)-and largesses have cooked our currency beyond recognition, our industrial base is a skeleton and our children will be left with obscenities blocking any fond memories of our generation.

We know the right direction to take, it's just a question of wasting time with the blame game and expecting Govt. to act, or simply taking the controls in a swift and decisive manner--a-la T. Boone--and doing what Americans do best---as individuals.

Wells Fargo, with a bid valued at $11.4B, expects the purchase to be completed by the end of the year, and denies it will have to absorb assets shakier than originally thought. As the financial crisis continues to worsen, the U.S. government is considering two dramatic steps to turn around, or at least slow, the damage: guaranteeing billions of dollars in bank debt and temporarily insuring all U.S. bank deposits. The moves, which would mark the government's most extensive intervention to date, are in discussion stages only. Credit stays frozen. As frozen credit markets refuse to thaw, the cost of default protection on corporate bonds reaches new global records amid investor concerns the credit crisis will trigger corporate failures as companies struggle to finance their businesses. Interbank lending remains limited, and borrowing from the Fed's expanded discount window continued its trend of setting new highs every week, as the total daily average rose to $420.2B vs. $367.8B last week. Computer Sciences (CSC) -- This is a company that was going to be bought, but they passed up the chance. Now I don't want to buy it."
