Buy And Hold: Beware the Devil You Don't Know
There are some stocks that buy & hold work. I bought XON (exxon) 12 yrs ago for $68/share. A lot has happen since ..merge w/Mobil XOM..continue to raise dividends.. 2 stock splits. The results ..current effective yield 9%.. 17$ basis...current $74/share. The company has done everything an in vester could want. I still will continue to hold the stock. Does any one think US wil quit useing oil?

Are We at the Bottom Yet?
To bad that finding a bottom isn't like driving to a destination. Rarely if ever do you know that a bottom has been reached until you have. Are we there yet? or just going up 2% one day and down 3% the next. Stay tuned

Will someone please tell Mr. Greenspan he is no longer the Fed Chair. The time to have all his latest ideas was when he WAS the chairman. Enjoy your retirement Al!!

"vacancy ratio is something that worries me right now" - thats why I've had this stock on my watch list for a while now. Waiting for lower entry point. Love the idea of monthly div's in my IRA.

I would hope nobody thinks real estate values will nearly double in 4 years. It would be helpful to if people didn't use the equity in their homes as an ATM machine.

      A Low-Risk Darden Options Play
Selling puts has been a very profitable strategy for me over the last year. However you will be required to have a certain amount of cash, depending on oyur broker, in the event you are PUT the stock in this case as much as $30000. So you profit analysis needs to be refigured. With that being said still an interesting stock trade.
