Is Apple More Undervalued Than Other Tech Sector Stocks?
Beyond the numbers is the concern about Apple management. Steve Jobs needs to state what I guess is true, viz., that Apple has some other great designers and idea people.Whether spending reduces or not, all the tech companies have to keep innovating.

8 Ways to Profit if OPEC Dumps the Dollar
It is difficult to overemphasize the role of trust in a debt relationship. All the oil earnings and Japanese savings are on loan to the US; but the US, thanks to losses in the unregulated financial sector, cost of war, and imprudent consumption, cannot afford to pay anything on these loans. Once the lender starts getting negative returns, he'll look elsewhere. The Euro is the first currency that comes to mind, even though the European economies simply cannot absorb the trillions now in US debt paper. Hopefully, a new chapter is being opened from 2009.

Why Do Oil Prices Keep Rising?
Maybe the profitless war, with a cost of 3 trillion, and asset writedowns, about 1 trillion, have scared away foreign investors from the dollar; which in turn means dollar weakness;which should definitely cause costs to rise! - thats inflation. It would'nt be such a bad thing, if demand and production were growing, alas, that has'nt happened since the 1950s. And the more FED lowers interest rates, the less confident will Chinese and Indian and OEC investors be with the dollar. Stop consuming and start producing should be the mantra. Incidentally, this is why growth manufacturers will be awarded higher valuations, while the bankers, insurers, value-adds get bonked.
