Gold Majors Go Shopping: Who's Next?
Why isn't UXG -- US Gold -- mentioned as a buyout possibility? Large reserves recently proven & upgraded and shareholders being hurt big time.

Indicator Points to Higher Gas Prices - and 3 Potential Power Plays
Don't forget Frontier Energy (FTO), also a refiner. All have their issues but if the crack spread widens they will go up smartly. Most days they react inversely to the change in crude prices so you will be hoping for crude to go down so that the refiners can keep their prices up & increase their crack spread. Sorry folks but gasoline pump prices will not immediately follow any crude price drops.

The Relationship between Oil, Drillers and Refiners
Unless you have options expiring soon it is a nice luxury to not do anything radical with energy stuff because any downturn will be short lived. We can count on energy bad guys like Iran & Venezuela to say something to reverse any slide in crude prices.

Ruby Tuesday: Turnaround's Still a Year Away
My nearby R. Tuesday has lost my frequent business with recent changes like taking the TVs out of the dining room as they went upscale. Employees were ill equipped to defend the changes like no more soup refills.

An Open Letter to the Board of China Yuchai International Limited
I have held several thousand shares of CYD for several years and I want to thank you Mr. Delgado for pressing management to be more friendly to their shareholders. I bought in originally & held through the bad times because I believed in their product & market position. When I finally learned about the struggles ongoing at the senior mgt/board level I felt silly having held on but maybe now we will be rewarded with a good reorganization (now due to be announced). That might bring the stock to the attention of new buyers hungry to participate in the Chinese markets with a solid product underlying the investment.

China Yuchai International: A Shareholder Speaks Up
Good to see your activism in an attempt to get this otherwise good business to see that the good passes through to the shareholders. I have held the stock for a long time based on the good business story and it has been frustrating not to be a part of the Chinese growth story.
